Kanu Nwankwo Reacts To Arsene Wenger Resignation


Former Super Eagles’ captain, Kanu Nwankwo have both taken time to praise outgoing long-serving manager of Arsenal, Arsene Wenger who announced he will be retiring at the end of the season after spending 22 years.

The Frenchman, who guided Arsenal to 7 FA Cup titles and three Premier League trophies, including becoming the first English side to go unbeaten, a team which featured Nigeria’s Kanu Nwankwo, is arguably the most successful manager in the Gunners’ history.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he will step down from his role at the end of the season, bringing to an end a trophy-laden but also increasingly fractious 22-year association between the Frenchman and the club.
