“I Can Be A Baby Mama If My Man Is Ready To Do This” – MTN Project Fame Winner, Okiemute Reveals
In an interview, MTN project fame season 9 winner, Okiemute said she could become a baby mama, but only to someone she was engaged to.
According to her, there are two categories of baby mamas, adding that she could only be found in the category that could lead to marriage.
She said, “There are different types of baby mamas. Some women would give birth to a child for a man who isn’t in a relationship with them, while some give birth to a child for a man who is in a serious relationship that could lead to marriage.
“She could be engaged to him; so definitely she would be called a baby mama since she already has a child outside wedlock. However, if she gets married to the man, she will no longer be called a baby mama. This is why there are different sides to being a baby mama. While engaged, mistakes could happen and you won’t expect the woman to leave especially when she knows the man is willing to take responsibility for them.”
Explaining how she got the inspiration for her latest song, “African Wonder”, the singer said, “It is an African vibe. I am a tough lover and I love to love. My religion is love, so I thought of how I could fuse Africa and love. So, my latest single wasn’t influenced by a man because the male gender generally seems intimidated by beautiful women.”
According to her, men get scared of beautiful women, making reference to her beauty as being the reason men do not become overzealous but respect themselves around her.
She stated that she had not really had any awkward moment with a male fan aside from rare encounters of some going overboard by grabbing her inappropriately but her manager handled such awkward moments.
On how she spent the N5m cash she won at Project Fame, she said she could not reveal this, only adding that it was used for important things in her life.
