Armed Robbers Killed And Set Ablaze 4 Police Officers In Edo

Four Policemen stationed to the Sabogidda-Ora Police Division have been killed and their dead body set on fire by suspected armed robbers.

The incident, in line with witnesses, occurred at about 8:30pm on Saturday at Oke New-Avbiosi Road junction along Uzebba-Ifon Expressway in Owan West local government area.

Residents within the area watched because the corpses of the policemen burnt on the far side which is beyond recognition.

It was learnt that the corpses are taken to a close-by mortuary.

State commissioner, Babatunde Kokumo, said he would speak on the incident later in the day.
