Notorious Robbers Arrested While Looting A Shop In Bayelsa
Two men who specialise in burglary, cultism, armed robbery, and other notorious crimes in various parts of the Bayelsa have been arrested by the State Vigilante Service.
Evangelist Ogede, who announced the arrest of the suspects before newsmen in Yenagoa, charged members of the public to always give useful information that could lead to the apprehension of criminal elements across the state.
The two suspects, according to the State Vigilante Chief was arrested in connection with breaking and looting of shops along Gwegwe, Areitalin, Obele and other parts of the state capital with dangerous weapons.
But luck, however ran out of the duo when they were caught gaining entrance to their victim’s shop, one Madam Elvorah and looted everything; including pieces of sachet water, popularly called ”Pure Water” Peppe, Maggi and other valuable items.
Evangelist Ogede, who expressed optimism, that with the incriminating evidence at his disposal, the two suspects will be successfully prosecuted and jailed, enjoined Bayelsans not to indulge in acts inimical to the society.
The suspects are since cooling off with the Police authorities for more investigation and prosecution.
