Viral Egg That Took Kylie Jenner's Instagram Crown Lands The Cover Of PAPER
As the Kardashian-Jenners continue to be eclipsed by an unremarkable brown egg, fans of the family may be wondering, when will it stop?
Already, the phenomenon has blown up even bigger than its social media beginnings: Soon after it was announced that a single picture by @world_record_egg broke 21-year-old Kylie Jenner's Instagram record - racking up over 32.6 million likes and counting, that egg in question has earned yet another pop culture accolade.
Paper magazine revealed on Instagram that the egg has landed the cover of its latest digital edition.
The minimalist design features the brown egg - likely not the same exact egg from the original image - cracked, with the yolk spilling out onto a surface.
'Break the internet,' the cover line reads. The line is particularly appropriate not just because the egg is broken or because the egg caused such a stir: The phrase was first used on the cover of Paper in 2014 in reference to a semi-nude image of Kim Kardashian.
Both Kim and Kylie Jenner have covered Paper in the past, but now it seems the egg is even further muscling in on their territory, one-upping Kylie not just on social media but in other forms of media, too.
