Kodak Black Tour Bus Raid: All Charges Dropped & Entourage Released From Jail
Last night, Kodak Black’s tour buses were raided while he performed, bringing even more bad luck to the star. This hasn’t been a great year for him so far. He’s currently awaiting trial for a rape case and last week, he was arrested for drugs and guns, leading him to cancel the remainder of his Canadian shows. He’s been involved in a beef with T.I. after inappropriately shooting his shot at Lauren London mere days after Nipsey Hussle passed away. That’s only the half of it too. Thankfully, Kodak has gotten a smidgen of good news today because it’s being reported that all charges have been dropped against his entourage and they have been released from police custody.
According to The Blast, Kodak and his team are officially off the hook after last night’s raid. Five men were taken into custody last night after four loaded handguns were found in the tour bus without correct documentation. All of the men that were taken into custody have been released and the criminal weapons charges laid out against them have reportedly been dropped. Officials were reportedly not able to determine who the guns belonged to, leading them to give up on the search altogether.
Kodak’s attorney told The Blast: “All charges against all defendants were dismissed, if the authorities went forward I believe there was substantial problems with the search, as well as any evidence against the individuals in that particular bus. Kodak had no knowledge about anything that was found and it was not his bus that he was traveling on. He is looking forward to his sold out performance tonight in Manhattan.”
Finally, some good news for Kodak. Hopefully, he has luck on his side for the rest of this year.
