Basketmouth Cancels South Africa Appearance Over Xenophobic Attacks

Basketmouth has broken silence amid on the ongoing murder of African nationals, especially Nigerians, in South Africa.

The comedian announced that he will no longer be performing at the upcoming Comic Choice Award schedule to hold in the southern African country this weekend, adding “It might sound like a whisper but together our voices and the right actions will hopefully make a true difference.”

This comes moments after T iwa Savage announced that she will no longer be performing at the upcoming DSTV Delicious Festival in Johannesburg.

“I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason, I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September,” she tweeted. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.”
