Tottenham held to a draw against Norwich

Tottenham missed another chance to close in on the top-four spot after salvaging just a point against Norwich.

Jose Mourinho edited his line up that featured against Brighton to make four changes. Giovani Lo Celso and Christian Eriksen replaced the suspended Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko.

Meanwhile, Norwich City also made three changes to the team lost out to Aston Villa.

The home side were the first to strike. Tottenham made a silly error inside their own half that saw the possession switch to their opponents. Mario Vrancic breezed past the Spurs defense before driving a low shot into the back of the net.

Teemu Pukki appeared to have doubled his side’s lead just after the half-hour mark. But, after a lengthy review by the VAR, Pukki was found offside and the goal was called out.

Just ten minutes into the second half, Christiano Eriksen scored a brilliant freekick to level the scores.

Within a matter of few minutes, Spurs scored again. Only on the wrong side of the pitch at that time. Toby Alderweireld makes a mess of a clearance resulting in an own goal for the London club .

In the final few minutes, Harry Kane made sure to walk away with at least a point for his side. The Englishman, after earning the spot-kick himself, kept his head cool and sent Tim Krul the wrong way to once again tie the scoreline.
