Katy Perry Shocked Fiancé Orlando Bloom Is Still With Her Despite The Stress Of Lockdown

Pop icon Katy Perry admitted that she’s shocked that her fiancé and father of her child, Orlando Bloom, has stuck with her through the prolonged coronavirus induced quarantine.

While speaking on SiriusXM Hits 1’s The Morning Mash Up on May 15 she admitted, “He’s seen it all and God bless him he’s still here which is amazing and commendable,” Perry said during the interview.

The singer even admitted that she’s tried to push Bloom’s buttons to get a response at times.

Perry Says ‘Bloom Can Handle It’

“I have definitely tested him and been like, ‘Oh yeah?! Oh yeah, you think you can handle me? Let’s see it!’,” Perry said. The couple are expecting their first child together, and according to Perry, the stress of her pregnancy has added some major stress to their shelter-in-place adherence.

Perry admitted that in the day-to-day there are “up and down” between the couple, “like everyone else.” Perry was quick to say that Bloom has been highly supportive of her during both the quarantine and pregnancy.

One Source Talked About What Perry Is Dealing With

“Katy is not only dealing with a ton of real emotions about becoming a first-time mom, but she’s also doing so under enormously unusual circumstances. And all Orlando wants is to be there for Katy every step of the way. But at the same time he’s also going through so much as the future husband and father, and feels like he needs to be the protector,” one source told [HollywoodLife] (https://hollywoodlife.com/2020/05/16/katy-perry-orlando-bloom-commendable-lockdown-stress-siriusxm-interview/) in an exclusive interview in April, while the lockdown was ongoing.

The Source Said The Couple Is Doing Fine

“Katy and Orlando are doing fine and just have a lot on their plate, simple as that. The overwhelming feeling for them both right now is pure excitement. Katy has wanted this for a very long time and she can’t wait to have her baby girl.”

Fox News reported that Perry has admitted to being depressed during the extended quarantine.
"I cry when I look down at my toes or I cry when just doing simple tasks," Perry confessed. "I think a lot of that is hormonal and I'm not used to being around so many people all in a confined [or] a small space for so long," she said. "I'm used to going [out] all the time."
