Canadian born-US rapper and singer, Drake has showered encomium on his senior in the game, Lil Wayne for pulling him up when he begun his career as an upcoming rapper.

Drake recounted how Lil Wayne helped him and other new acts several years to go to come into the limelight.

This comes after popular America media personality, Elliot Wilson, shared a video of an interview Lil Wayne granted for Tidal.

In the video, Lil Wayne went down memory lane to narrate how he met Drake and how honored he is for Drake to consider meeting him in the early stages of his career.

Speaking on Lil Wayne’s remarkable sacrifice towards grooming and growing him and other young artistes under the label which has made him who he is today.

Drake wrote,

“This man believed in me after so many never called again or just didn’t see it to begin with… Most selfless artist ever, never held any of us back.
