A massive amount of work went into the building that houses the current BBNaija housemates for the season 5 lockdown edition.

A  close source has revealed that the total amount invested in the BBNaija Lockdown house is N2.5 billion. This has changed the overall outlook of the house as it has taken a new shape.

A chunk of the money spent went into the production equipment and the necessary things to keep the show-up and running for the viewers. The construction costs for the house was over N300 million, N2 billion spent on production equipment and a couple of millions was spent on the provision of utilities, information technology, and safety systems, building modifications. They also considered COVID-19 adaptations to make the house a friendly place where the virus cannot spread easily.

Olajumoke Ogunnaike of Lefteye’s Signature was the interior decorator assigned the contract to do a total makeover the Multichoice Group spent an N1 billion on the show production.
