Why Are Very “Artless” Actors Winning Top Awards – Actor Ugezu Quizzes Award Organizers

 

Nollywood actor and movie director Ugezu J. Ugezu has fired award organizers in Africa and especially Nigeria. According to him, how they dish out awards in the creative arts industry is like putting square pegs in proud holes.

He said some people with no talent(artless) actors have been winning the movie actor of the year award while the experienced and most talented actors go home with nothing.

The Nollywood actor impugned corruption and questioned why corruption must eat into every sector in Africa. His concern can find sense with many people in Africa as lots of people have complained about it already.
