Ayodeji Richard Makun, popularly known as A.Y, is a Nigerian who hails from Ifon, Ose local government in Ondo state. He is the oldest male child of seven children. The star was born on the 19th of August in the year 1971 and is currently 49 years of age. His parents died when he was in university but he stayed strong and took care of his siblings.
AY became famous when he wrote A.Y wire as a guest columnist in “the sun” (Nigeria) and Gbenga Adeyinka’s “laugh Mattaz”. He is also the host of A.Y comedy skits and live shows.
