Nigeria Ends 2020 Calendar Year As 35th Best Team In The World In Latest FIFA Ranking

 

FIFA has released its latest rankings and the Super Eagles of Nigeria are ranked the 35th best national team in the world.

On the continent, Nigeria is the 5th best team with countries above Nigeria being Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.

The Super Eagles finished the year with a total point of 1474. This comes after Nigeria’s abysmal performance in their AFCON qualifier matches with Sierra Leone which ended 4-4 and 0-0 in the double leg encounter.

Africa’s number one is Senegal and in the world, they are ranked the 20th best team with a total point of 1558.

As we speak, Belgium is the best team in the world followed by France, Brazil and England with Portugal in 5th place.
