Suspected Herdsmen Sent Packing From Kwara Community

 

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps , NSCDC,  stated that some herdsmen have been sent packing from Babanla community in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Spokesman of NSCDC Kwara state command, Babawale Zaid Afolabi, disclosed this in a statement in Ilorin on Monday.

Afolabi said “The suspected herdsmen entered the community from an unknown destination with the intention of settling down in Babanla community on Sunday.

“Immediately they were sighted, some members of the community alerted the NSCDC office, the corps personnel swung into action and they were moved to the office.

” Their vehicle was thoroughly searched but no exhibit was found in the vehicle.

” The herdsmen were sent back, officers supervised and escorted them out of the community.”
