Four Suspects Arrested Over Criminal Conspiracy, Armed Robbery In Niger

 


Operatives of the Niger State Police Command have arrested four suspects over alleged criminal conspiracy and armed robbery.


The suspects were identified as: Umar Mohammed, 20 years of Sauka-Kahuta, Minna, Isah Umar, 21 years of Agaie, Moh’d Moh’d, 22 years of Nmasaba area, Agaie as well as Mohammed Muazu, 35 years of Tudun-Fulani


The state Police Commissioner CP Monday Bala Kuryas, who disclosed this at the command’s Headquarters in Minna said the suspects broke into the residence of their victim and robbed him of property worth millions of naira including cash to the tune of N1,080,000 in Agaie, Agaie Local Government Area of the state.


Kuryas said the suspects broke into the house of their victim at the GRA Agaie, Agaie local government and carted away valuables worth millions of naira.

Upon receiving the information, the Police in the area swung into action which led to the arrest of the suspects.


They robbed the victim of his Toyota Highlander 2006 model black in color with Reg. No. ABJ 781 CV, five sets of clothes, jewelries valued about N190,000, cash sum of N1,080,000, one Infinix hot 4 handset valued about N55,000 as well as a Tecno handset.

He revealed that the suspects confessed to have conspired with other members of the gang who are presently at large, namely Moh’d Smally, Sadiq Sambo and Danjuma surname unknown.


However, some of the items recovered from them include the above mentioned vehicle, the sum of N180,000, Infinix phone, cutlass, knife and sticks.
