Liberia Vs Nigeria: Ahmed Musa Talks Tough Ahead Of World Cup Qualifier
Ahmed Musa, the captain of the Super Eagles, has stated that the team is focused on getting three points against Liberia in Saturday’s FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Nigeria can’t afford to lose against Liberia this Saturday at the Stade Grande de Tangier, according to Musa.
It would be recalled that Gernot Rohr’s side recently defeated the Lone Star 2-0 in Lagos’ Teslim Balogun Stadium.
“As you can see everyone is happy and we are ready for the game. We have 22 players here. Tomorrow, we are expecting the goalkeeper (John Noble) and Odion Ighalo,” Musa told the Super Eagles media.
“We know the importance of the game, we can’t afford to lose. We have to go for the three points. At the end of the game on Saturday, we hope to celebrate another important win.”
The match will kick-off at 6 pm Nigerian time.
