Davido Didn’t Allow His Course Mates Copy Him During Exams – Babcock Lecturer
Former lecturer and Head of Department at Babcock University
, Olusegun Ojuola has shed light on an intriguing aspect of music star Davido when he was a student of the prestigious Nigerian university.
Speaking to TheCable in a recent interview, the respected man recounted how the musician kept his distance from coursemates during exams and never allowed others to copy him since he was a brilliant student.
He observed that Davido was obstinate with this principle that he questioned him about it. “I will always remember that during exams David liked to keep a distance from other students. I asked why; he said he didn’t want to be distracted. He is quite a brilliant student,” he said.
Ojuola also revealed that Davido was only able to graduate as a part-time student in such a short period of time because of the credits he carried from Oakwood University in Business Administration in 2010 and extra summer semesters.
Meanwhile, a modest Mr. Macaroni has paid homage to one of the richest men in Nigeria, Mr. Adedeji Adeleke- the father of successful musician Davido.
In an inspiring post shared on social media, the popular Instagram skit maker recounted how Davido’s dad came to his rescue perpetually during his struggling days at the university and beyond.
He said if anyone thought Davido was a cheerful giver, they should wait until they encounter his father because he takes giving to a different level. His post reads in parts;
Davido’s dad bought me my first laptop when i got admission into the university, and every time I needed money in school all i had to do was text him, if you think Davido is a great giver or is easily accessible then you have to meet his dad.
