Filling station razed as tanker explodes in Abia
On Saturday morning, residents of Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, fled for safety when a diesel-laden truck exploded in a fuel filling station known as Master Energy.
According to reports, the tanker was pouring diesel to the subterranean tank when the fire broke out.
As a result of the fire, automobiles were temporarily abandoned at the filling station, causing fear in the region.
People who lived nearby ran to prevent getting caught up in the blast.
Firefighters were seen trying to control the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.
