Burnley sack coach, Sean Dyche

Premier League club, Burnley, on Friday, sacked head coach, Sean Dyche.

Burnley also sacked Dyche’s assistant, Ian Woan.

The English Club disclosed this in a statement via its website.

Dyche’s sack comes less than a week after their 2-0 defeat to Norwich City.

“Burnley Football Club can confirm the Club has parted company with manager Sean Dyche, assistant manager Ian Woan, first-team coach Steve Stone and goalkeeping coach Billy Mercer.

“Dyche was the longest-serving manager in the Premier League, having been in charge of the Clarets for nine-and-a-half years, overseeing a period which will go down as one of the most successful in the Club’s history,” the statement read.

Burnley will face West Ham United in a Premier League tie on Sunday.

They currently sit in the 18th position on the Premier League table, with 24 points from 30 games.
