UPDATE: FCTA reopens Federal Ministry of Works

 

Officials of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing Mabushi have been granted access to their respective offices, following the resolution of the Ministry’s authority and the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB), of the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

MuchTalksBlog had earlier reported today that the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) in the wee hours of Tuesday sealed the Federal Ministry of Works, Federal Character Commission and Merit house Maitama and Murg plaza over ten billion naira debts waste management owed to Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB).

The board said it provided waste management and other environmental obligations to their service providers and they refused to pay.
