COURT ORDERS ARREST OF EX-ENUGU GOVERNOR OVER ALLEGED FRAUD
F ormer governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani has been served a bench arrest warrant for failing to appear before the court.
Background:
Nnamani had in 2007 faced charges of alleged economic crime and money-laundering, amounting to N5 billion.
Mohammed Yinusa , a justice of the Federal High Court had confiscated four companies and assets belonging to
Nnamani.
Nnamani’s re-arraignment was set for December 4, after EFCC’s lawyer wrote a request for adjournment.
