Nigerian journalist leads outstanding Nigerian scholars in the UK with a distinction

The managing editor of The Nigerian News London, Angula Jessica led other Nigerian members of her MBA class at the Coventry University to come tops with a distinction.
It was revealed that Angula graduated from the Benue State University, Makurdi in 2013 and had enrolled amongst other Nigerian students at the Coventry University United Kingdom for her MBA in (Oil and Gas Management) in 2016.
She came top of her class with a First Class in an event that was held at the Guild Hall, Buckingham City, London.

According to her transcript, Angula scored distinctions in all the 12 modules undertaken at the University with an average mark of 78 to clinch a first class, becoming one of the first to attain such heights in the MBA category.
The pro-chancellor of Coventry University, Professor David Burton while opening the proceedings said that the University is proud to celebrate the achievements of the students who had put in years of efforts and hard work into their studies to make the final list of graduands.
He specially thanked the staff and students for sustaining the age long tradition of Coventry University as an academic pace setter and citadel of learning where people come from everywhere in the world to share and exchange knowledge with one another.
Angula who couldn’t hold her joy during the event said her grades are a reflection of the true Nigerianspirit of excellence and dedicated the result to Nigeria as a country that she is always proud of.
Her words:
“We are great people from a great nation, very hardworking and devoted to every cause we pursue and to a large extent known for both academic excellence and discipline.
“My advice to all my fellow citizens particularly those abroad is never to allow the negative stories about our country derail them from achieving their dreams
“Everyone in my country is a blessed child and when given the opportunity would blast it to the heavens. In music, fashion and medicine, our young citizens are also making their impacts.”
