Man Drove His is Expensive Mercedes Straight Into A Graveyard, Destroys Graves

A man who was apparently drunk, has driven his expensive automobile straight into a graveyard and ended up damaging many graves.

According to a report by Daily Mail UK, a man has been injured after losing control of his car and crashing through a cemetery.

Several tombstones were destroyed when the man’s Mercedes Benz flew off the road into Randwick Cemetery in South Coogee, in Sydney’s east, at 2.30am Tuesday.

A man in his 40s allegedly returned a positive result after being breath-tested at the scene and police are investigating the crash.

The car is believed to have lost control at a roundabout, smashed through a concrete wall and landed upside down among the graves.

The driver suffered facial and abdominal injuries and was taking to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition where he will undergo mandatory testing.

At least four gravestones were damaged, including some dating back to the 1920s, Nine News reported.

Police are urging anyone with information on the crash to come forward.
