Niniola & Not3s Are Both Nominated For A 2018 BET Award

Three weeks ago, we reported that Tiwa Savage and Davido had both scored well-deserved nominations for 'Best International Act' at the 2018 BET Awards.

Now, two more of our faves, Niniola and Not3s, have also landed nominations for a viewers' choice category: 'Best New International Act'.

Following Niniola's breakout year, scoring two of the biggest songs of 2017, "Maradona" and "Sicker", as well as dropping one of the best Nigerian debut albums we've gotten in a while , this nomination shouldn't come as a shock to anyone.

As for Not3s, the British-Nigerian rapper and singer has had one of the fastest rises in the UK's current music scene. It would have been downright criminal if the "Addison Lee" singer didn't score a nomination as well.

Niniola and Not3s will be competing against a bunch of other rising stars from all around the world, including Ghana's Kwesi Arthur, South Africa's Sjava, Brazil's MC Soffia, France's Prince Waly, South Korea's Sik-K and more.

The winner will be announced during the show on June 26.
