Serious Confrontation Between The police And The Cattle " butchers " In Bodija Market, Ibadan.

News reports about the battle between butchers in Bodija market, Ibadan and some security officers went viral a while ago which led to the shut of the market by the state government.

The Oyo State Government urged the people to be law abiding, warning that anyone found wanting will be made to face the full wrath of the law.

MuchTalksBlog learnt that trouble started when the enforcement team stormed the market and were shooting into the air to scare the butchers away.

An eyewitness account has it that the five people allegedly killed include three butchers; a female fashion designer and a boy picking aluminium scraps by the roadside.

Furious by the development, a crowd reportedly mobilised and headed straight to Bodija market divisional police headquarters, Bodija, Ibadan, and razed it down completely.

Cars, power generating sets, chairs, and so many other things were destroyed.
