Cult Member Arrested After Preparing Pepper Soup With Stolen Goat

A suspected cult member who was nabbed by vigilante members in Benin town, Edo state, got quite more than what he bargained for.

It was gathered that the criminal beside 5 others stormed the area for theft operation as they alerted the general public by shooting in the air before commencing to rob residents.

The criminals revealed to be members of the dread Eiye confraternity stated to be in possession of stolen cash, tvsets, mobile phones and different properties they may lay their hands on.

The cultists also stole a goat which they killed and were about preparing for pepper soup before the arrival of vigilante.

Luck ran out on one of the cultists as the five others fled leaving him to his fate. He was beaten mercilessly by the security men before he was transferred to the police station for prosecution.
