Wilfried Zaha Signs New Deal To Become Highest earner At Crystal Palace

Wilfried Zaha has committed his long-term contract future to Crystal Palace by signing a new contract and in the process becomes the highest paid player in the club’s history.

The new contract which contains no release clause will take Zaha until the end of the 2022/23 campaign and is believed to be worth £130,000/week.

Zaha’s importance to Palace cannot be overstated with Roy Hodgson’s side failing to secure a single point in his absence last season. The Ivory Coast international scored nine times last term as Palace overcame a difficult start to survive and has started this season in similar vein with the second goal in the 2-0 opening day win at Fulham.

“I’m very pleased,” said Zaha,
“Obviously, I just wanted to get it over and done with, so I can just focus on the season. I’m buzzing that we managed to get it sorted.”

Zaha, who joined Palace at the age of 12, has made 288 appearances and scored 44 goals in two spells at the south London club either side of a brief period with Manchester United.
