Kim Kardashian’s Bodyguard Sued For $6M For Negligence During Paris Robbery

Kim Kardashian’s bodyguard as at the time the reality star was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in 2016 has been sued. Pascal Duvier and the company he worked for are being sued by Kim’s insurance company for $6.1 million for negligence which caused the robbery, TMZ reports.

The lawsuit claims there were a number of security breaches in the hotel the bodyguard failed to correct. Among other things, the front gate to the courtyard of the hotel was missing a lock, and the intercom to the door was not functioning … things the bodyguard should have flagged.

The lawsuit, filed by AIG, claims the breaches allowed the masked gunmen to enter the hotel and make their way up to Kim’s unit, where she was gagged, tied up and put in a bathtub.

Following the robbery, Kim made changes to her security team, which reportedly included ending her professional relationship with Duvier.

Neither the hotel where Kim was robbed nor the concierge who was held at gunpoint while he took the robbers to Kim’s room are being sued.
