Biafra: IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu Suspends Live Broadcast

The self-acclaimed leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has suspended his live broadcast scheduled to hold on16th.

This was contained in a post by the deputy leader of IPOB Alphonsus Uche Okafor-Mefor, via his Facebook page.

According to Mefor: “ There won’t be a live broadcast from our leader tomorrow . In place of it, we shall do a repeat and interactive session will follow.”

The IPOB leader addresses ”Biafrans” every Saturday, during which he talks on several issues including an alleged impostor in Aso Rock.

Since the pro-Biafra activist came out of hiding in October after the military invasion of his community in Abia State, southeast Nigeria, last year, he has been alleging that President Muhammdu Buhari is an imposter whose real name is Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani from Sudan.

But Buhari, while speaking in Poland, where he attended a climate change summit, said he would soon celebrate his 76th birthday, adding that “a lot of people hoped that I died during my ill health. Somebody just thought I am cloned, … it is real me I can assure you”.

On Wednesday, Kanu writing via his Twitter handle, alleged that President Buhari had confirmed his claim.

He made this allegation in reference to a picture of the President responding to cheers from his supporters by raising his fist.

The IPOB leader had earlier said during a live broadcast via radio Biafra that Buhari would no longer wave his supporters because he has a different palm print from that of his “impostor”.

Kanu then uploaded a photo of the President responding to the cheers by raising his fist, alleging that it was a confirmation of his allegations that the President is an “impostor”.
