Zidane Tipped To Replace Sarri At Chelsea

Chelsea want French legend Zinedine Zidane as their next manager if they sack Maurizio Sarri and hope he can take Blues back to the very top.

The Sun reports that the Frenchman, who is currently without a club since his departure from Real Madrid last summer, is well liked by the Chelsea Board who consider him a top coach at the highest level, having won the UEFA Champions League in three consecutive seasons as coach of Real Madrid.

Current Blues manager Sarri has come under intense pressure in the wake of their 6-0 destruction by champions Manchester City.

The embarrassing defeat comes on the heels of a shocking 4-0 drubbing away at Bournemouth as the Blues struggle on the road.

Chelsea sit sixth on the Premier League log, 17 points adrift of pacesetters City and Liverpool, with 13 games left.
