Korea Beats Japan to Reach Quarterfinals of U-20 World Cup

Korea on Tuesday defeated Japan 1-0 in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland, moving into the quarterfinals.

The tight tug of war between the long-standing rivals finally ended when Oh Se-hun scored a header in the 84th minute.

The last time Korea reached the last eight was in 2013 when the biennial tournament was held in Turkey.

Korea will face off against Senegal in the quarterfinal match on Saturday.
