Ariana Grande Reportedly Wants Mac Miller's Drug Dealer Convicted
Comments Likes Mac Miller’s alleged drug dealer deserves jail time, according to Ariana Grande.
Sources close to the singer tell TMZ that she believes Cameron James Pettit took advantage of someone suffering from addiction and should be convicted for his role in her ex-boyfriend’s death.
Pettit was one of three people, along with a madam and prostitute, arrested for allegedly supplying Miller with counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl. Grande thinks he and anyone else involved should face harsh consequences for contributing to Miller’s death from an accidental overdose.
While investigating Miller’s death, authorities found a plastic bag containing pills that were allegedly supplied by a prostitute. Two days earlier, Pettit delivered to Miller counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl, cocaine, and Xanax.
The arrest has reportedly brought some sense of closure to Grande, although she wants to see justice served. The singer, who dated Miller for two years starting in 2016, was
“unbelievably involved and helpful” in getting her ex-boyfriend sober when he was alive. “They were very much in love and I have to say, she was incredible when he was first sobering up,” said their mutual friend Shane Powers. “She was a fu**ing G to him. There could not have been anybody more supportive of him being sober than Ariana.”
Pettit is currently facing a charge of distributing a controlled substance. He was taken into custody Wednesday and is being held without bond. Law enforcement sources say he could also face an enhanced drug trafficking charge resulting in death.
Miller was discovered unresponsive in his Studio City, Calif. home on Sept. 7, 2018. Following his death, Grande penned a touching tribute to her ex. “i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will,” she wrote. “i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest.”
