Ekiti discharges first Coronavirus patient after testing negative

The first coronavirus patient in Ekiti state has just been discharged from the isolation centre in the state, after testing negative to the virus.

This was made known by the state Governor on Twitter, who revealed that the patient was discharged after testing negative to the virus twice.

The governor wrote;

“Thanks to our resilient health workers, Ekiti state’s #COVID19 patient has now been discharged. With this, Ekiti State has no coronavirus patient at its isolation center. #COVID19Nigeria”
