242 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases to 4641. 

According to a tweet by the Nigeria Center For Disease Control (NCDC) Monday, 88 of the new cases were reported in Lagos, 64 in Kano, 49 in Katsina, 13 in Kaduna, nine in Ogun, six in Gombe, four in Adamawa, three in the FCT and one each in Ondo, Oyo, Rivers, Zamfara, Borno, and Bauchi. 

34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have recorded at least one confirmed case of the virus in Nigeria.

 Nigeria currently has 4641 COVID-19 cases, 150 deaths while 902 persons have been discharged. 

Worldwide, the number of confirmed infections stands above 4 million with more than 284,000 deaths and over 1.43 million recoveries.
