No Sensible Northerner Will Allow His Daughter To Join BBNaija — Man Slams Housemate, Kaisha

A Nigerian man has savagely reacted to the selection of a northerner as one of the housemates in the 2020 edition of Big Brother Naija show. Kaisha was unveiled as a contestant at the launch of the competition and her appearance on the show has sparked outrage among some Nigerians especially those in Northern Nigeria.

According to the man identified as @Am_Saleem on Twitter, no northern parent in his or her right senses will approve of their child’s participation in BBNaija, and he doubted the true identity of Kaisha as a northerner.

“No sensible man from Arewa would ever allow his daughter to join #BBNaija. I wonder which part of the NORTH this “Aisha/Kaisha” comes from exactly. If she’s a Northerner, then definitely she’s not Hausa/Fulani, because shyness and modesty are part of our culture too."
