Day-Old-Baby Abandoned in Anambra Rescued By Police
On Thursday, August 13, a day old baby was rescued by Police of Anambra State.
Haruna Mohammed, the spokesperson of the state police told newsmen that Ginika Okoromike of Ozalla village Isuofia visited the police station in Aguata together with staff Ozalla-Isuofia community health center to report the abandonment of a day old baby girl who was left at the corridor of her house.
According to Haruna, police hurriedly rushed to the scene and rescued the baby. He added that the baby is in perfect health condition and will be sent to Social Welfare for further care.
He concluded that police is doing all they could to locate the parents of the baby.
