Secure the Bag! Lizzo Partners with Amazon for First Look Deal

 Lizzo Beating is sure securing her bag in 2020 as the Grammy award winning singer just inked a first look deal with Amazon.

The body positivity enthusiast is set to develop her own original content with the giant streamer in this new deal and will have total control over her own television projects on Amazon Prime.

THR reports that Lizzo made he announcement during a virtual Television Critics Association session organised by Amazon and is very excited about it.

“I am so excited to partner with the amazing team at Amazon. Thank you to Ken Salle and the rest of the team for making this dream come true. I can’t wait to get started and share my vision with the world”.

The Head of Amazon Studios, Jennifer Salke, also expressed her joy on partnering with Lizzo and why it was the right choice:

“Lizzo is one of the most exciting, creative, joyful artists in the industry, and it is such a pleasure to announce this new deal with her. She has such a unique perspective and we’re so excited to hear her ideas for new content that our Prime Video customers are sure to love.”

Lizzo joins the likes of Viola Davis and Brad Pitt who have also sigbed a first look deal with Amazon.
