GTBank Called Me, Threatening To Flag My Account If I Transact Further With Cryptocurrency – Futuris

 

A Twitter user identified as Futurist has taken to the microblogging platform to reveal that his bank, GT Bank has been threatening to flag his account if he transacts business in bitcoin.

According to him, hours after the Federal government placed a ban on crypto currencies, his bank (GT Bank) called him and asked him to stop trading in the crypto currencies or have his account flagged.

This revelation led other twitter users to call out GT Bank for breathing threats against it’s customers. He sparked a lot of reactions on the platform as other people said they would withdraw all their money from the bank with immediate effect.

He wrote: My bank called me threatening to flag my account if i use it to transact further with crypto exchanges.
