Live! UEFA Europa League quarter-final and semi-final draw.. Manchester United to face Granada away..

Arsenal and Manchester United are the last remaining British teams as the competitions reaches the final eight.

Arsenal and Tottenham were both expecting to progress to the Europa League quarter-finals but in the end only one of the north London rivals made it through their second legs.

The Gunners banished some of the demons from their elimination at the hands of Olympiakos last season by beating them 3-2 on aggregate, while Spurs somehow managed to contrive losing by the same scoreline to Dinamo Zagreb despite enjoying a two-goal lead.

Jose Mourinho was left questioning his players’ attitude after the embarrassing defeat: “My team, I repeat, my team – I am there – didn’t look like they were playing an important match,” Mourinho told BT Sport afterwards.

The other two British sides left in the last 16 endured different fortunes on Thursday night too. Rangers threw away a strong position at Ibrox to lose 3-1 to Slavia Prague, while Manchester United secured victory at the San Siro to beat Milan 2-1.

The draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals will both take place today, Friday  19 March 1:00 pm following the conclusion of the last-16 ties on Thursday night.

The four quarter-final ties will be numbered from 1-4 and drawn for the semi-final.

This year’s final will be held on Wednesday 26 May in Gdansk, Poland.
