Toke Makinwa says women shouldn’t be dragged for men’s infidelity

Foremost Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has taken to her Twitter account to kick against critics who blame women for their Male partner’s infidelity in a relationship.

According to the media personality, women should not be disrespected because their better half cheated. Instead, Toke Makinwa admonished naysayers to blame the man for engaging in extramarital affair.

In her post, she stated that men should bare brunts of their actions alone.

In her Twitter post on Thursday evening, the on-Air personality stated that women should not be blamed for the poor decisions taken by their partners.

Toke’s post is also coming amid reports that Nigerian recording artiste, Adekunle Gold was cheating on his wife, Simi; while she was expecting her baby in Chicago.

Here is what she tweeted;

“I know we all love a good hot, pipping, steaming tea; but can we try to cultivate the habit of not bashing women for the wrongs of their partners.

If a woman gets cheated on by her husband/partner resist the urge to blame her for his wrong doing; and no, it’s no reflection on her.”

She continued;

“Stop saying “men will disgrace you”; that is alluding and accepting shame for another’s crime.

Instead say “men will disgrace themselves”.

Adults should carry their cross without the distribution of shame; the woman was not in the mix, leave her out of the insults.”

In other news, American relationship expert Derrick Jaxn publicly apologized for cheating on his wife, D’Naia Jackson.

He confessed in a video that he published on his Instagram page earlier in the week.
