Adetutu, Twitter influencer, faces double legal action for alleged libel

 

A social media user, Adetutu is set to face legal proceedings by a Twitter influencer identified as Mazi Gburugburu for her alleged libelous statement on the micro-blogging site.

Adetutu accused Mazi Gburugburu and a legal practitioner, Henry Shield of theft.

Taking to Twitter on Monday morning, she wrote;

Mazi Gburugburu has since responded and he has threatened to press charges against Adetutu.

Here is what he wrote on the social media platform, Twitter;

”Good morning Tutu! I am awake.

For two years now you have been misbehaving but I let you be cos, after all, frustration and idleness can have very dangerous effects on people.

You have used every opportunity available to malign me.

But I have largely ignored you.

I ignored.”

He continued;

You for two reasons: first, the coward in you will not let you make a direct reference to me citing my name or handle.

Rather, you use a technicality to refer to me so as to claim deniability in the event of trouble.

Second, I let you be cos I felt that there was no need dissipating the energy on someone that is beneath me.

Yes, indeed, Tutu, you are beneath me.

However, the moment you called me a thief you crossed a very big red line; and now, you are about to feel the wrath of a menace you let loose out of a cage.

Tutu, my goal now on Twitter is to make life miserable for you in real life, and on here.

Tutu, I will chase you to the extremities of the earth… I will bankrupt you and make you beg for bread.

You will be enmeshed in so much legal battles that there will not be money left to feed let alone buy a wretched wig.”

His thread reads further;

”By the time I am done with you, you will learn how to spell Gburugburu, a name you ridiculously call Guguru to evade legal consequences. My lawyers in England have assured me that to the extent that when you mention that people know you refer to me then you are liable.

People make threats, I make promises.

People forgive, I don’t.

Cursed be anyone on Twitter, who in 2 years never asked you to stop embarrassing yourself that will come to ask me to stop.

Cursed be that person’s generation to the 5th level.

Tutu, this is WAR!

You have been served.”
