IIEC: Ibadan Igbo Trader's Cup Match Preview, Summary and Quarter-Final Fixtures

 

The Quarter-Final stage of the Ibadan Igbo Trader's Cup get underway on 20th of June 2021, Sunday, and the road to clinch the another edition of the tournament is up and running with the lucky 8 teams embarking on their knock-out stage to reach the final.

Aleshinloye, the team with the most trophy will be pleased to be seeded against 7thDay_B, which  this is their second appearance of the tournament. 

2019, 7thDay_B, made their first debut of the tournament, but were called {Eleyele Boys}.

7th_Day_A, will lock horns with their fierce rival Ogunpa-Fc in anticipated El-Classico Quarter-Final stage.

Either team, will have to get past each other in order to qualify to the SEMI-FINAL.

Ambassadors, takes on the aggressive side of Akala_A in the Quarter-Final stage. While Sharp Corner will battle it out with the tactical side of General Gas.

Summary

ALESHINLOYE ended their last group game with a 2️⃣ — 0️⃣ defeat to inform OGUNPA-FC in the Ibadan Igbo Trader's Cup (IITC). Tho, they're the first team to qualify from the group stage of this year's tournament.

7thDay_B, fought hard in their last group game against the {tiki taka} side of DUGBE, which they eventually comes out victorious in a controversial win against the Cobra (uniformed side).

HEAD TO HEAD: Both team have met once in 2019, at that time 7thDay_B was known as (Eleyele Boys) which they surprisingly defeated ALESHINLOYE 2️⃣ — 1️⃣.

7TH_Day_A, In their last group Match against AMBASSADORS, in which they controversially lost to a lone goal,  7th_Day_A were the favourite to top the group A, but ended up in 2nd spot ahead of AMBASSADORS.

OGUNPA-FC, The most inform side after finishing the group matches unbeaten. with the look of play, they're obviously the title favorite, tho they're yet to face a tough side. Match against 7TH_Day_A will determine if certainly they are title favorite.

HEAD TO HEAD: The two sides has come against each other several times. in the last meeting between the two side (2019) 7Th_Day_A  unconvincingly,  won the game with a lone goal in which they were outplayed by the Giant Orange side.

 

Sunday's game will be a dramatic and exciting moment on the pitch and on the stand.
