Whomsoever Adviced Buhari to Suspend Twitter in Nigeria is His Biggest Enemy – Fayemi

 

Kayode Fayemi, Governor of Ekiti and Chairman of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari over the suspension of Social media giant, Twitter.

Fayemi further described aides of Buhari who advised him to suspend the microblogging site as ‘His biggest enemies’.

Fayemi argued that the suspension of Twitter in Nigeria space is not justifiable by argument after the micro-blogging site removed a dangerous, irresponsible and insensitive tweet by the President.

Fayemi through his official Twitter handle said the suspension by the Federal Government was an “indefensible move”.

His tweet read; “Suspending @Twitter from Nigeria simply because they removed a dangerous, irresponsible & insensitive tweet by @MBuhari is the most absurd and counterproductive move that the FG could have made.

“Whoever advised Mr President to make this indefensible move is his biggest enemy,” he said.
