Buhari Donates N1m, Cows, Rice To NYSC Members In Daura
President Muhammad Buhari decided to bless his hometown National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members as he doled out N1million, 20 bags of rice, and two cows to them in his native Daura Area of Katsina State.
Mr Alex Obemeata, NYSC’s spokesperson in Katsina, issued a statement where he revealed that Buhari exhibited brotherly love to them when they went over to his house in him in Daura to welcome him and wish him ‘Happy Sallah.
Obemeata said: “It was another joyous Sallah day for the corps members serving in Daura, the country home of Mr President, as he was at home for the 2021 Sallah celebration.
“Usually, when Mr President is at home for Sallah celebration, corps members go to his house to welcome him and wish him ‘Happy Sallah’.
“In like manner, on July 20, 2021, the corps members in Daura were at the President’s house for the Sallah wishes, and it was a celebration of the century.
“They were given two cows, 20 bags of rice and N1million,”
Meanwhile, Garba Shehu warned members of the People Democratic Party not to nurture any unrealistic ambition about becoming president of the country.
He made the disclosure with a group of journalists having just returned from the Eid-el-Kabir prayer at President Buhari’s house in Daura, Katsina State.
Garba explained that President Muhammadu Buhari has a powerful political presence and cannot be swept aside by anyone in the country.
Garba said: “Wherever we have gone, you see people lining the street shouting ‘sai Buhari, sai Buhari’. That tells you that the President is very well entrenched politically and he is such a strong factor in the politics of this country and nobody can wish him away using tweets.
“I think that it is in the interest of oppositions particularly in the country to admit that the president matters a lot to the people of this country and that the unshakable support he enjoys, not only in Daura but across the country cannot be wished away whether you are using digital media or you are using propaganda.
