Video: Anger as teacher at college in Edo beats students with machete

 

A yet-to-be-identified teacher of Federal Science and Technical College, Uromi in Edo State, has injured some students after beating them with a machete.

According to SaharaReporters, the students were beaten on various parts of their bodies which later become sore.

In a video, some of the students were seen with injuries on their backs while one of them was injured on his lips.

This has attracted public outrage, with many Nigerians calling for the arrest of the teacher responsible for the beating and assault.

MuchTalksBlog had reported that a 19-month-old pupil, Obina Udeze was hospitalised after he was given 31 strokes of the cane by son of the school proprietress and teacher, Emeka Nwogbo for playing with water on Monday.

Obinna was taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, Delta state, where he eventually died on Saturday morning, February 12.
