Harmony Boys Kwara United, Run Riot, Smash KWAITA 7–1 in Kwara FA Cup Semi-Final
Kwara United FC have stormed into the final of the Kwara State FA Cup with a commanding 7–1 demolition of debutants KWAITA FC in a semi-final clash held on hot Thursday afternoon at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl, George Innih Stadium, Ilorin.
Samsudeen Muhammed emerged the star of the encounter, netting a superb hat-trick for the Harmony Boys.
He was well supported on the scoresheet by Johnmark Aule, Abdulsalam Abdulsalam, Ibrahim Mohammed, and Alao Mohammed, as Kwara United delivered a ruthless attacking display.
KWAITA FC managed only a consolation goal through Arinze Onyotha. The former NPFL player on sighting the Kwara United goalkeeper outside his six yard box , loops in a 40 yards volley, which left the Kwara United goalkeeper scrambled on the floor.
The lone goal from the KWAITA FC Playmaker, draws scene as supporters of KWAITA FC jubilates for scoring against the Defending Champion.
The Harmony Boys will now face Gaa Akanbi FC in the final, scheduled for Sunday at 4pm.
