Childhood was the best thing.
You didn’t have to worry about paying bills, going to work or thinking about what to eat. You didn’t even have to worry about fitfam. All you had to do was go to school, do homework, eat, watch television and play with your friends. And these were the best games that we had back then.
1. Tinko Tinko
It didn’t involve a lot, just hands and a song. Remember when it gets faster and one of you loses?
2. Jangilova
This was our darling on the playground. Who remembers the song that goes with it?
3. Suwe
You can go for the fancy word, hopscotch, but Suwe was my personal favourite.Imagine building houses on several of the allotted squares and forcing your opponents to jump for kilometres!
4. Police and Thief
This game was another favourite when there were lots of people. Many people loved being on the thief side because they tend to have more fun.
5. Boju Boju
Also known as “hide and seek” in English, this game was fun for everyone involved. Nobody particularly liked being the person to seek others. But it was always worked out when you found someone. And some people were such terrible hiders, lol!
6. Tabletop football
Many guys remember playing this football game drawn on a foolscap sheet with posts made out of paper and players made out of buttons. Biro covers were gold back then especially for this game.
7. Rubber game
This game involved trying to win your opponents’ rubber bands. Ah, to be young
7 Games We Had Boku Fun With Back In The Day and consider rubber bands as valuable as diamonds!
