Corp Member Calls For Help As A Christian Community Ravaged By Jihadist In Adamawa

A corp member who is currently serving in Lau local government area of Adamawa state has lamented over the severe killings that occurred in the community while no one reported the incident .

He called on concerned Nigerian citizens to help filtered this into the air for absolute solutions .

He wrote:

A Christian Community ravaged by Jihadist and nobody reports about them. 

Sir, I am a corp member serving in Lau local government. Just as you post on fulani herdsmen killings in plateau. Similarly, thing is happening in Mayo lope a border community between Adamawa state and Taraba state, it is a predominantly Christian town. Mayo lope is in lau local government of Taraba state, the killings started since Thursday 21 june 2018 till now. Right now mayo lope is a ghost town because the people in the town deserted it and ran away leaving behind their properties at the mercy of the herdsmen. I am wondering why these killings in lau local government are not reported on the social and print media in this country:over 200 people have been killed in the last six months in lau local government alone.

The figures are listed below as follows

GARIN DOGO – 43 people
DONADA- 57 people
KALTIBU – 41 people
JEGAM – 62 people
ABBARE – 23 people.

All these killings i listed above started december last year, the worth of properties lost to the attacks are over billions of naira. The victims of the herdsmen attacks are still living with their relatives in Jalingo, zing and other neighbouring towns and are yet to return to their ancestral lands due to fear of been attack by the fulani herdsmen.

THE METHOD OF ATTACK

The fulanis living with their host communities play a very crucial roles in the attacking their host, by assisting the foreign fulanis attackers in areas of logistics, and in keeping their arms and armunitions.

during the attacks, the foreign fulani attackers always spare the lives and properties of the fulanis living in the ravaged communities. They either mark their houses or put a banner to indicate that they are together with the foreign fulani invaders, while they burnt down churches, houses and stores of the christians in the communities….

Because the genesis of these senseless attacks started when the fulanis herdsmen attack the Bachama people living in Demsa local government in Adamawa state.
