Okowa’s Aide Shot Dead In Delta

Unknown gunmen on Saturday shot dead an aide to Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, on Youth Development, Lawrence Ngozi Akpomiemie.

According to TVC News report, Akpomiemie was killed in violence-prone in Ekpan, Uvwie Local Council Area of Delta State.

The cause of the violence that led to his death was yet to be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, Delta State Police Command Spokesman, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, has confirmed the assassination but said security operatives were still awaiting details on the killings.
